We have now shortlisted the nominations of the most influential buy side heads of trading across 4 asset classes; Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives.

The multiple winners will be announced and invited to collect their award at the 8th annual ATF Global Summit on 5th & 6th February 2020​.

​

Polling will close at the end of business on Tuesday 17th December 2019.

All nominations included, but were not exhaustive to, how this person has:

​

• Shown initiative, leadership, dedication and outstanding contribution to the industry​.

• Demonstrated innovation and/or creativity​.

• Earned the respect of their peers and how they have become a role model in their field.

Evaluation Criteria

​

• Must include a short description to support your nomination(s). Nominations without a rationale will be discounted.​

• The nominee must be a 'head trader'. 

• If European based, the nominee must have attended at least one Alpha Trader Forum event in Europe, between 1 May 2018 – 20 November 2019. Or if US/Asia based, they must have attended at least one Alpha Trader Forum USA or one Asia Buy-side Forum.​

• If you are unsure if they have attended, please feel free to nominate your head trader(s) as we will verify their attendance to an ATF/ABF.  ​

• Please note self nominations will  be excluded.

Nomination information

• The closing date for nominations is Wednesday 20th November 2019.

• The shortlist will be announced on Friday 22nd November 2019.

• An industry poll qualifying the Head Trader Champions for 2020 will thereafter be open until Tuesday 17th December 2019. 

• A change from previous years, anyone in the capital markets industry is eligible to vote.

• There can be more than one winner per asset class.

• There is no cost for submitting a nominee.

• You can nominate more buy-side champions provided there is rationale to support your nomination.
